Praxis

Covid has certainly impacted how we learn and teach at BKSM, and it is bringing new opportunities for community building and learning together between focus weekends. Praxis is one of these opportunities.

During "normal" focus weekends, praxis sessions have taken place on Saturday morning. This time is usually dedicated to guest presenters and boots-on-the-ground topics that supplement student programs of study.

We invite the wider BKSM community - alumni/-ae, faculty, supporters and others  looking for a little continuing education - to join us for online praxis this fall. We have moved praxis sessions to the one Tuesday of the month at 7:00, taking the Conversation & Compline slot and extending discussion another 30 minutes.  We will close our time together with compline.

Upcoming Topics:
  • February:
  • March 9: Bishop Scott Barker (NE), practical advice for graduates
  • April:
  • May:
