Ways to Support the Bishop Kemper School for Ministry

So that the Bishop Kemper School for Ministry remains affordable for students, we do not depend on tuition dollars to support our ongoing operational costs.

Our annual operations and long-term ministry are funded by:
  • financial support from each of our four partner dioceses provides us annual financial support.
  • large gifts through planned giving and memorial monies.
  • donations to spring annual fund campaign.  In 2021, we raised $xx,xxx to support both student scholarships and operational expenses.

We rely on donations to our scholarship funds to support:
  • the Jim Upton scholarship for lay students
  • need-based scholarships for tuition and/or books
  • merit-based scholarships

From time to time, we also receive grants to support mission enhancements, such as upgrading hardware in our classrooms and the funding of two mobile classrooms to enhance hybrid learning.

If you would like to financially support BKSM's mission, please consider making a donation. You may make a check payable to "Bishop Kemper School for Ministry" in the mail to:

The Venerable Monte Giddings, Interim Dean
26755 W 103rd Street

Olathe, KS 66061

If you would like to designate your giving, please do so in the memo line.

If you prefer to make an online donation, you can do so through the Episcopal Diocese of West Missouri here.
